Our members

Our members are characterized by the quality of their training.

This training must include at least five (5) years of studies, followed by a dissertation or a thesis presented to an international jury.

During these five (5) years of studies, the following disciplines have to be part of the curriculum:

  Fasciae, osteology, arthrology, myology, angiology, nevrology,
  Physiology,
  Biology,
  Embryology,
  Obstetric,
  Cranial,

The acquired knowledge is verified by exams.

Also, the student has to study the history and philosophy of osteopathy, in the respect of its founding fathers.

Osteopath members :

D.O. (Diploma in Osteopathy).

D.O.M.P. (Doctorate in Osteopathic Manual Practice) Ontario osteopath diploma).

 

Student members :

C.O. (Certificate in Osteopathy) Certificate of attestation given at the end of the fifth or sixth year of studies (variable according to the school)

Diploma in Somatotherapy: recognition given by certain schools when the first two years of osteopathic studies have been completed.
